Jaipur : Good news for the people of Bharatpur and Bikaner. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma gave a big gift. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said on Monday during the response to the discussion on Rajasthan Appropriation and Finance Bill that Bharatpur and Bikaner UIT will be upgraded and a development authority will be formed there. He said that now there will be no Nagar Vikas Nyas in Bikaner, but Bikaner Vikas Pradhikaran will replace it. This authority will remain active in Bikaner Nagar Vikas Nyas area only. Both Bikaner East and West Vidhan Sabhas will remain under the Vikas Pradhikaran. After this new announcement, the Vikas Pradhikaran will be responsible for the development of Bikaner city with a population of about one million. After the formation of the Vikas Pradhikaran, an IAS officer will take its responsibility. Till now, an officer of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) used to handle the post of Secretary in the Nagar Vikas Nyas.
The scope of Bikaner city will increase
With this, the scope of Bikaner city can increase. After the formation of the development authority, some villages located on the route from Bikaner to Nokha, Sri Ganganagar, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Nal can be included in the city.

Bharatpur will no longer be a UIT. After CM Bhajan Lal’s announcement, Bharatpur will now become Bharatpur Vikas Pradhikaran. After this announcement by CM Bhajan Lal, the people of Bharatpur are rejoicing. The notification of Bharatpur Vikas Pradhikaran will be issued soon. After the Vikas Pradhikaran comes into existence, about 30 more villages are expected to be included in the limits of Bharatpur Vikas Pradhikaran. After this, the development of Bharatpur will be accelerated.
