Jaipur : Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma addressed the session ‘Her Stories: Advancing Inclusive Societies’ at the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. During this, he said that according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there are only four castes in this country – women, farmers, youth and laborers. As per his wish, we are continuously working for the empowerment of women. That is why we have organized this session for women in Rising Rajasthan. In this session, all women will take inspiration from the success stories of women speakers.
‘Bicycles will be given to 1 lakh 25 thousand girl students’
He said that on the occasion of completion of one year of the state government, bicycles will be distributed to 1 lakh 25 thousand girl students. Besides this, scooters will also be distributed to 21 thousand girls. So that it becomes easier for them to get education. The state government will launch various programs and schemes for the welfare of farmers on 13 December, women on 14 December and laborers on 15 December.
‘1 lakh new Lakhpati Didi will be honoured’
The Chief Minister said that on the occasion of completion of one year of the state government, a loan of Rs 100 crore will be distributed to self-help groups through Mahila Nidhi Bank. Besides, 1 lakh new Lakhpati Didi will also be honoured. He said that on this occasion, financial support was provided to women through various programs including transfer of revolving fund of Rs 15 thousand per group to 10 thousand self-help groups, first installment of Laado Incentive Scheme to 1 lakh children, honoring 200 Namo Drone Didi. ‘Will give gas cylinder for Rs 450’
The Chief Minister said that we had promised in the resolution letter that we would give gas cylinders to women for Rs 450 and on January 1, we fulfilled our promise and gave cylinders to women for Rs 450. Now on completion of one year of the state government, 20 thousand women will be given gas cylinders for Rs 450. He assured that we are committed to fulfilling every promise made in the manifesto.
