On June 21, two communities clashed in Jodhpur
Two communities clashed in Jodhpur on Friday, June 21. They pelted stones at each other. Many shops and vehicles were set on fire. They also attacked the police team that arrived on information. Police personnel were also injured. Additional police force had to be called on the spot. There is communal tension in the area right now. Police force was deployed at every nook and corner.

Controversy arose over opposition to the construction of a gate behind Idgah
The people of the area opposed the construction of a gate at the back of the Idgah, saying that this would increase the movement of people in that area. According to the police, the construction work began on Friday evening. The confrontation that followed turned violent. There were incidents of stone pelting, arson and vandalism.
51 people arrested in violence
The police commissioner said that the situation is under control and police have been deployed in the entire area. He said, “We have imposed section 144 and so far 51 people have been arrested.
The gate of Idgah was closed
There was a communal riot in Jodhpur over the gate of Idgah. Which was opened against the agreement. Now after the violence, that gate has been closed. There was an agreement not to open the gate behind Idgah. Because that gate opened in front of the temple. But this gate was opened by breaking the agreement. Due to this, there was heavy stone pelting between the two sides. But now this gate has been closed.
