Jaipur : Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma returned to India on Saturday morning after a 6-day foreign visit to Japan and South Korea. His plane landed at New Delhi Airport (IGI Airport), where he was welcomed. After this, he left for Jaipur. Preparations are underway for his grand welcome at the airport (Jaipur Airport).
‘It was a great trip’
This foreign trip of CM Bhajan Lal was part of the preparations for the upcoming ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024’. During the meeting, discussions were held on taking the partnership forward and new investment opportunities in the state were also highlighted. Rajasthan Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa, who accompanied him during the foreign trip, said, ‘It was a good trip and the investors have a positive attitude towards us and the CM has also promised to provide them all possible assistance in a positive manner.’
‘The trip will yield positive results’
Speaking on CM Sharma’s visit, Rajasthan minister Jawahar Singh said, “This visit of the CM in connection with the Rajasthan Summit to invite companies from different countries interested in investing in the state will give positive results, generate employment. I hope foreign companies will sign MoUs with the state and help Rajasthan develop under the leadership of PM Modi. Countries around the world have shown trust in India because it does what it says.”
These companies can invest in Rajasthan
Before Japan, the Rajasthan CM was on a two-day visit to South Korea with a high-level delegation. Several South Korean companies expressed interest in exploring opportunities in Rajasthan and expanding their business in the state. This includes several major South Korean companies including Samsung Healthcare, LX International, Orion Corporation and Hyosung Corporation as well as the Korean Stone Association.
Rising Rajasthan Summit will be held in December
The Rajasthan government led by CM Sharma will host the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 in the capital Jaipur on December 9-11. The three-day mega summit, which aims to attract and facilitate global investments, innovation and partnerships in the state, is organised in collaboration with the Department of Industry and Commerce, Investment Promotion Bureau (BIP) and RIICO, with BIP providing the service.
