Chittorgarh : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma was on a tour of Mewar, during which Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma participated in many programs organized at Angad Bavji, a religious place located in village Narbadiya of Chittorgarh district. Bhajanlal Sharma, who came to Chittorgarh district for the first time after becoming the Chief Minister, was given a warm welcome. In the program, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma made many announcements and also claimed to plant 50 crore saplings in 5 years through the Chief Minister’s Tree Plantation Campaign.
Bhajan Lal Sharma was on a tour of Mewar. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma visited the religious place Angad Bavji situated in village Narbadiya of Chittorgarh district and offered special prayers after visiting the Dhuni of Saint Amara Bhagat and also planted a sapling in the premises of Amara Bhagat’s Taposthali situated in Angad Bavji for the campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. During this, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma laid the foundation stone of a Gaushala in Angad Bavji itself. During this, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma praised the campaign started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the service of nature and respect towards mother and also called upon the common people to take a pledge to plant a tree. Describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the source of inspiration for social concerns, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have become the main carriers of public awareness today.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited the Dhuni of the Tapasthali of Shiromani Amara Bhagat located at Angad Bavji and performed special worship and offered ghee at the Dhuni of Amara Bhagat and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the state. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma planted a Peepal tree with chanting of mantras at the meeting place itself and gave the message of increasing public participation in environmental protection. During this, 1008 couples also performed puja with rituals and planted 1008 saplings. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that our ministers are serving the people day and night by touring the entire state, holding meetings and public hearings in the secretariat. We have immediately implemented the promises made in the Sankalp Patra and the announcements of the revised budget 2024-25. Recently, the launch, foundation stone laying and inauguration of projects and programs worth more than Rs 10 thousand crores show our firm resolve towards the development of every sector and every section.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that our government is working with determination for the development and welfare of about 8 crore people of 200 assembly constituencies of the state. Development work is being approved in every panchayat and village of the state and its implementation is being ensured. Officers have been instructed to do profiling of each assembly, so that by making an action plan, timely resolution of rain-related problems and outline of development works can be ensured. The state government is working on a concrete action plan to strengthen the power system in the state and by the year 2027, farmers will be able to get electricity even during the day. Along with this, industry and domestic consumers will also be able to get adequate electricity. Water is required for the development of various sectors including industry, tourism, agriculture. Keeping this in mind, our government is active to ensure water supply in the state through important steps like ERCP, Dewas Project, Indira Gandhi Canal and Yamuna Water Agreement.
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that the government has provided interest-free loan facility of up to one lakh rupees for cowherds through Gopal Credit Card Scheme. Cowherds can buy cows and buffaloes. The government will provide financial assistance to the cowshed located in Angad Bavji premises. Also, he assured to consider positively the demand to make Bhadsoda sub-tehsil a tehsil and to upgrade the school located in Angad Bavji. Recalling the glorious history of Chittorgarh, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma saluted the valor and valor of Mewar and said that Mewar is the land of power and devotion. This land of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap, Bhakt Shiromani Meera Bai, Swami Bhakti of Panna Dhay and philanthropists like Bhamashah is a source of inspiration for us. During this, the Chief Minister mentioned the announcements made for Chittorgarh district in the budget from the stage and also directly communicated with the people regarding the implementation of the schemes.
Revenue Minister Hemant Meena, Animal Husbandry, Cow Husbandry, Dairy and Devasthan Department Minister Joraram Kumawat, State Minister for Cooperation Gautam Dak, who accompanied the Chief Minister during his visit, also addressed the program, while MP CP Joshi gave a warm welcome to him on his first visit to Chittorgarh after becoming the Chief Minister and also thanked the Chief Minister for the gifts given to Chittorgarh district as well as the parliamentary constituency in the budget announcements. Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Joraram Kumawat, Revenue Minister Shri Hemant Meena, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Avinash Gehlot, Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge) Rajasthan Heritage Authority Chairman Omkar Singh Lakhawat, Nimbahera MLA Shrichand Kriplani, Kapasan MLA Arjunlal Jinagar, including public representatives and party officials of the district were also present in the program.
