CM Bhajanlal took a review meeting, now Rising Rajasthan pre-summit will be held in districts too

Jaipur : After returning from a foreign tour, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma held a meeting with high-level officials on Sunday regarding the preparations for the Rising Rajasthan Summit. In this, along with the preparations for the Domestic Investors Meet to be held in Delhi, he also asked to organize a pre-summit at the department and district level.

Pre-summit will be organized at department level

The Chief Minister said that to attract investment in the state, a pre-summit should be organized at the departmental level with an action plan. He directed the concerned officials of the departments of tourism, urban development and housing, information and technology, industry and commerce and RIICO, agriculture and animal husbandry, education, mines and petroleum, energy, medical and health to attract investment by organizing meetings with investors of the concerned sector through pre-summit.

There will be investors meet at district level also

Sharma said that the investors meet organised at the district level will play an important role in the success of Rising Rajasthan. For this, the district collectors and the concerned departments should establish a dialogue with the entrepreneurs interested in investing at the local level and organise a meeting so that the investment can take a concrete shape on the ground and new employment opportunities can be created.

Officials going abroad should stay updated

The Chief Minister told the officials communicating with investors in the country and abroad to have complete information about the summit. They should also stay updated with the information about the facilities that will be provided to investors in the state. Under the Rajasthan Foundation, they were also asked to invite non-resident Rajasthanis to invest in the state.

CA Sudhansh Pant, ACS Finance Akhil Arora, ACS CMO Shikhar Aggarwal, Additional Chief Secretary Rural Development Reya Guha, Principal Secretary Industries and Commerce Ajitabh Sharma, along with senior officials of various departments joined the meeting through VC.

Roadshow will be held in UAE and Qatar

Under the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit, a high-level delegation of the state government will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar to meet international investors from September 17 to 19. According to Industry Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, investors from Gulf countries will also be invited for the Investment Summit to be held in Jaipur in December this year. Many companies and institutions like Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Lulu International, DP World, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Abu Dhabi Investment Council, Mubadala Investment, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Investment Authority, Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry are involved. There will be two international investors’ road shows in Dubai (UAE) and Doha (Qatar). The delegation also includes General Administration Department Secretary Jogaram, Joint Secretary to Chief Minister Siddharth Sihag, Bureau of Investment Promotion Additional Commissioner Saurabh Swami and other senior officials.
