Jodhpur : a startup which is the goal of the new generation, the future of the youth of the entire state depends on it. The Prime Minister has also appreciated it. Jodhpur’s startup ecosystem has registered its strength in the three-day Rising Rajasthan. Now after two days, CM Bhajanlal Sharma will distribute a grant of Rs 5 crore to state level startups from Jodhpur. Startup founders of Jodhpur have also participated in this event. Sushil Sharma of Marwari Catalyst said that PM Narendra Modi himself has a lot of vision regarding startups. Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, MLA Atul Bhansali visited the stall set up in Rising Rajasthan and took information about the startup in Marwar.
What is the ecosystem of Jodhpur?
After the opening of iStart’s incubation center in Jodhpur, the number of startups has increased significantly. Registrations in Jodhpur have increased three times in the last three years. Presently this number is beyond 300. Earlier this number was less than 100. 40 startups have been given free space in the incubation centre.
Funding is also being received from all over the country
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will be in Jodhpur on 12th December. He will distribute grants from Jodhpur to 155 startups of the state. This grant amount is Rs 5 crore 10 lakh. 15 startups of Jodhpur are getting special grant from the state government, which is an amount of Rs 50 lakh. Incubation Center mentor Raunak Singhvi said that the government is positive about startups, apart from government grants, funding is also being received from all over the country.
