Jaipur : Army’s Agniveers will be given reservation in Rajasthan as well. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced this late night on Friday in New Delhi. The Chief Minister said that Army’s Agniveers will be given reservation in the recruitment of Rajasthan Police, Forest Guard and Jail Guard. According to sources, regarding this the Sainik Welfare Department has also sent a proposal to the Home Department regarding the 10 percent reservation given in five states. Soon it will also be decided how much percent reservation the Agniveers will get in these recruitments. This reservation can be from five to ten percent.
10 percent reservation given in five states
On Kargil Vijay Diwas, BJP governments of five states have announced 10 percent reservation in jobs for Agniveers. Along with Rajasthan, 10 percent reservation will be given in Police Service and PAC in Uttar Pradesh, Police and Armed Forces in Madhya Pradesh, Police and Forest Guard Recruitment in Chhattisgarh, Police Recruitment in Odisha and Government Jobs in Uttarakhand.
