CM Yogi Adityanath will attend the Vidyarthi Parishad session as the chief guest.

New Delhi, November 14 (IANS). ‘Professor Yashwantrao Kelkar Youth Award’ will be presented in the 70th National Convention of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. UP CM Yogi Adityanath will be present as the chief guest. This national convention is being organized in Gorakhpur from 22 to 24 November.

Professor Yashwantrao Kelkar Award is to be given this year to Deepesh Nair, co-founder of ‘Training and Educational Center for Hearing Impaired’. This award is given since the year 1991 in the memory of Professor Yashwantrao Kelkar, who is called the architect of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad organization and is remembered for his role in the expansion of ABVP.

This award is a joint initiative of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and Vidyarthi Nidhi Trust, which is committed to work in the field of education and advancement of students. The objective of the award is to highlight the work of young social entrepreneurs, encourage them, express gratitude to such social entrepreneurs and inspire young Indians to do service work.

The youth who have done excellent work in fields like education, society, environment, science etc. are given ‘Pvt. ‘Yashwantrao Kelkar Youth Award’ is given. This award consists of an amount of Rs 1 lakh, certificate and memento. This year this award will be given by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on 24 November. Deepesh Nair has been selected for the Yashwantrao Kelkar Youth Award-2024 to be given this year. He has established the ‘Training and Educational Center for Hearing Impaired’ for deaf and hard of hearing students. The aim of this institution is to provide quality education and career opportunities to these students.

Dipesh Nair has 12 years of corporate experience and has been instrumental in setting up this center in the year 2016. Aman Sharma is the co-founder with him and both have done excellent work in creating a similar educational environment. Their work area is spread in Thane, Pune, Delhi and many other cities. This institute fills the gap of higher education opportunities and is providing excellent results with 90 percent placement.

National General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Yagyavalkya Shukla says that continuous work is being done to make the 70th National Convention of Vidyarthi Parishad a grand one. Representatives from all the states of India will be present in the convention and Mini India will be seen at the convention venue. A glimpse of the sublime Indian culture will be seen in the convention. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath will attend the Professor Yashwant Rao Kelkar Award and will award the selected Dipesh Nayak and will interact with the representative workers from different regions of India.
