Mahakumbhnagar, December 7 (IANS). During his visit to Prayagraj, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took stock of the preparations for Mahakumbh and met the saints of all the Akharas.
At the fair authority office, the saints informed Chief Minister Yogi Adityamath about their problems, which he assured to solve.
After meeting CM Yogi Adityanath, All India Akhara Parishad President Ravindra Puri said that today’s meeting of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with our 13 Akharas was very meaningful. Chief Minister Yogi has assured all the saints that better management will be done in Mahakumbh. He himself is a saint and all the saints respect him very much. He said that our effort should be that this time Mahakumbh should be grand and divine. For this the Sant Samaj will give its full support. The fair officials here are very experienced people. Mahakumbh was successfully organized in 2019 under his supervision. The water from small drains goes into the Ganga. CM Yogi has assured to fix it.
Nirmal Akhara Secretary Ravindra Shastri said that we have informed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that the incomplete work in the city and fair grounds should be completed as soon as possible. Camps have been set up, but bridges and roads are not ready. He has assured to complete all the pending works soon.
This time special arrangements are being made to take care of the devotees coming from India and abroad for Mahakumbh. As per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations are being made on a war footing in the fair area to realize the plan of a healthy Mahakumbh.
It is estimated that 40 crore devotees will come to Prayagraj in Mahakumbh 2025, the biggest event of Sanatan culture. As per the intention of CM Yogi for a clean and healthy Mahakumbh, efforts are being made to make the Mahakumbh Mela area completely ODF. According to this scheme, a record 1,50,000 toilets are being built in the fair area. The sludge from the toilets of the fair area will be disposed of with the help of Jal Nigam, Municipal Corporation, 3 temporary and permanent STPs of Naini, Jhunsi and Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant of Arail.
