Jaipur : Due to snowfall in the hilly areas of the country and the activity of western disturbance, the effect of sudden cold in the weather of Rajasthan has increased. Due to this, there is dense fog in many districts of the state. The night temperature has dropped by 5 to 7 degrees. The day temperature has also dropped by 4 to 5 degrees. Apart from this, the air quality of many districts has also been greatly affected, due to which AQI has crossed 300 in Bhiwadi on Wednesday.
Churu remained the coldest area
Talking about the last 24 hours, the temperature of Rajasthan has dropped by about 4 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the highest temperature in the state was recorded in Barmer at 31.9 degrees Celsius. According to the minimum temperature released by Jaipur Meteorological Center, Sikar and Churu were the coldest areas. The minimum temperature here fell to 7.2 and 9.6 degrees. Besides, the humidity in the air also remains between 50 to 100 percent, due to which the cold has started increasing. Due to this, people have started feeling cold even during the day.
Dense fog alert in northern Rajasthan
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of dense fog for Wednesday. According to this, there is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Bikaner, Anupgarh of North Rajasthan on the morning of 20th November, which will persist for the next 24 hours.
Jaipur weather will change in next 5 days
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a drop of 2 to 3 degrees in the minimum temperature in the state in the next 5 days. Also, in the coming days, there is a possibility of dense fog in some parts of Jaipur, Bikaner division and a drop in minimum temperature in most parts of the state.
