‘Cold wave’ alert in Rajasthan, temperature will fall by 3 degrees in these areas

Jaipur : Winter will start gaining momentum in Rajasthan next week. Now the temperature has started falling rapidly in many districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of cold wave in some parts of the northern areas of the state ‘Shekhawati region’ in the coming days. But at present there was not much fluctuation in the temperature of any district. The minimum temperature remains between 8 to 15 degrees Celsius.

If we talk about the weather in the state in the last 24 hours, the weather was overall dry. The highest maximum temperature was recorded in Barmer at 30.2 degrees Celsius. Last night the lowest temperature was recorded at 6.5 degrees Celsius in Sangaria (Hamangarh) and 6.0 degrees Celsius in Sikar. Apart from this, the minimum temperature in other districts remained as follows. 9.9 degrees in Ajmer, 09.1 degrees in Bhilwara, 08.0 degrees in Alwar, 12.2 degrees in Jaipur, 09.3 degrees in Pilani, 07.0 degrees in Sikar, 28.0 degrees in Kota, 09.8 degrees in Chittorgarh, 14.5 degrees in Barmer, 13.2 degrees in Jaisalmer, 11.8 degrees in Jodhpur, Temperature was recorded at 12.5 degrees in Bikaner, 08.4 degrees in Churu, 09.0 degrees in Sriganganagar and 10.0 degrees Celsius in Mount Abu.

Cold wave will hit Shekhawati areas from next week

According to Jaipur Meteorological Centre, the minimum temperature is likely to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius in most parts of the state in the coming week. Also, the minimum temperature in Shekhawati region on December 10-12 will be between three to six degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of cold wave at some places. However, there is no possibility of dense fog anywhere in the state.

The effect of winter will intensify due to western disturbance.

Apart from this, due to the intensification of the effect of western disturbance in the coming days, the effect of winter is likely to increase in the state. From the second week of December, a drop in temperature can be seen in almost all the districts of the state, due to which shivering cold will be felt. At the same time, the period of severe cold will start from the third and fourth week of December. According to the Meteorological Department, this time there will be severe cold in Rajasthan from mid-December to January. This time it is expected to be colder than in the last several years.
