Sikar : After the increase of 2.8 degrees in the minimum temperature in Sikar today, the minimum temperature has gone above 6 degrees. However, winter continues in the district. Now the effect of winter is going to increase further in the district. According to weather experts, the effect of winter will intensify across the state including Sikar from December 10.
The minimum temperature recorded at Fatehpur Agricultural Research Center in Sikar this morning was 6.3 degrees. Earlier on Thursday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 3.5 degrees and the maximum temperature was 26 degrees. Whereas on Wednesday the minimum temperature was recorded at 7.8 and the maximum temperature was 26.5 degrees. The weather remained clear even on Thursday morning.

According to Radheshyam Sharma, Director of Jaipur Meteorological Center, a Western Disturbance will be active in North India from December 7. Apart from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, good rain and snowfall is expected at many places in Himachal and Uttarakhand. Due to the effect of this system, there may be light clouds in the north-western districts of Rajasthan on 8 and 9 December.
When this system will move beyond North India on 9th December, the cold will become more intense in Rajasthan from 10th to 11th December. There will be a feeling of freezing cold due to cold winds blowing even in the afternoon. There is a possibility that the minimum temperature in Sikar may drop by more than 3 degrees.
Let us tell you that during winter, the temperature in the district sometimes goes below the freezing point in the months of December and January. However, the lowest temperature so far this season was recorded at 3.5 degrees on December 5. There was dense fog in the district on 19 and 20 November.
