Banswara : Collector Dr. Inderjit Yadav visited the Mahatma Gandhi Government Hospital located in the city on Tuesday. As soon as he reached, he roamed around the hospital premises and wards and saw the cleanliness system there. The collector became angry after seeing the filth in the hospital wards. He also warned the management to improve the situation soon. This is not the first time that an administrative officer has been reprimanded for cleanliness during inspection. Strict instructions have already been given regarding filth in the hospital. But the hospital management is not serious about the cleanliness system. Whereas this arrangement has been given on contract after spending lakhs of rupees.
The MCH building has been adopted by a private company. Which is the responsibility of the company. The Collector, along with the Superintending Engineer, Executive Engineer etc. of the Public Works Department, inspected the ongoing toilet construction and other works in Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. During this, the Superintending Engineer of the Public Works Department gave necessary instructions to the concerned on the shortcomings found in the works going on there. Also asked to pay special attention to the quality of work. Here, District Collector Yadav also visited various wards to know the situation. He took information about the hospital arrangements from Chief Medical Officer Dr. Khushpal Singh and gave necessary instructions.
