Jalore : Jalore District Collector Dr. Pradeep K Gawande organized Ratri Chaupal in Borta village of Bhinmal subdivision on Wednesday. In this, after meeting the villagers face to face and listening to the public problems, they were resolved on the spot by the officers present. In front of Gawande, the villagers requested for connecting water connections under Jal Jeevan Mission, smooth supply of drinking water, providing benefits of PM Samman Nidhi, providing benefits of PM Awas Yojana, installing road lights, repairing roads connecting rural areas, removing encroachments, The surveyor submitted various complaints including illegal disconnection of water connections. The District Collector listened to them seriously and directed the concerned departmental officers to get them disposed of on the spot.
In Ratri Chaupal, departmental officials including Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Discom and Panchayati Raj gave information about various schemes run by the Central and State Government. During this, Additional District Collector Bhinmal Daulatram Choudhary, block level administrative officers, public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
