Churu : A case of rape of a 19 year old college student from Kotwali area of Churu district has come to light. After the rape, the student’s health deteriorated and she was admitted to the hospital. After the complaint of the victim’s father, a case has been registered in the women’s police station. Mahila police station incharge Kartar Singh said that the victim’s father lodged a complaint in the police station, after which a case has been registered and investigation has been started. It was told in the complaint that the victim’s health had deteriorated on Sunday night, after which she was hurriedly brought to the District Government Hospital. After examination, the doctors declared her pregnant. He is undergoing treatment.
Police officer Kartar Singh further said that the victim’s father reported that his 19-year-old daughter’s health had suddenly deteriorated last night. Due to excessive bleeding, he was brought to DB Hospital where after examination the doctors admitted him. Doctors declared her pregnant. The father has filed a registered case of rape in this regard at the women’s police station. In the report filed, the father told that his daughter told the family that a person named Akash had forcefully taken her to a closed room of Bhootiya Bass 2 months ago, where he raped her for two days. The accused threatened the victim that if If he tells anyone about the rape, his family will be killed. Due to fear, the victim kept this fact hidden from her family members, but only when she was brought to the hospital after her health deteriorated, the incident of rape came to light. The police have registered a case against the accused Akash and started investigation. At present the accused has not been arrested.
