Committed suicide after being harassed by a woman in Sikar

Sikar News Desk: A case of suicide due to being fed up of extortion has been registered in Sadar police station of Sikar. It is alleged that a middle-aged man, fed up with the harassment of the woman, committed suicide. The woman was threatening to kill the middle-aged man. In the report given to the police, Parmeshwar Lal (30), resident of Tasar Badi (Sikar), told that on the morning of 8th December, his father Rameshwar Lal had gone to his farm located on Palwas Road. During this time, at around 1 pm, Manju Devi, wife Sitaram and Anil resident of Palwas, Sikar came to the farm on bike.

Manju Devi started demanding money from her father and started abusing. Manju threatened his father to give him the money otherwise she would kill him. After which the woman forcibly brought Rameshwar Lal home with her. The accused went to the complainant’s house and started beating my mother and sister. The woman started telling Rameshwar Lal that she would not let him live, would file false cases against him and would ruin him. After which the woman started taking sheep, goats and buffaloes from home. At that time, fed up with Manju’s harassment and illegal extortion, Rameshwar Lal committed suicide by hanging himself. At present the police have registered the case and started investigation. SI Sanjay Verma is investigating the case.
