Rajsamand : In Rajnagar police station area of Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, for the last one week, incidents of stabbing, assault and other incidents have been taking place. Here the controversy regarding one issue or the other is not stopping. One such case came to light late Thursday evening, in which a teenager was fatally attacked with a knife by two other youths. It was fortunate that the teenager became alert before the attack, and he caught the tip of the knife that was going to hit his stomach with his hand, thereby averting a major incident.
Injured teenager is a national player in boxing
However, Kankroli resident Daksh Pratapaj, son of Rakesh Prajapat, who was injured in this knife attack, is a national player in boxing. According to the injured teenager, fearing that the attackers belonged to a particular community, workers of Hindu organizations gathered outside the Rajnagar police station and demanded the arrest of the attackers. Seeing the matter escalating, ASP Mahendra Pareek, Tehsildar Vijay Kumar, DSP Vivek Singh Rao, Kankroli CI Hanuwant Singh Sodha along with his wife reached Rajnagar police station and took complete information about the matter. After this, the atmosphere became tense due to incidents of stone pelting and arson in Rajnagar area and a large number of police forces were deployed in the entire Rajnagar area regarding law and order.
Both the attacking youths came on a motorcycle
According to the police, a minor teenager resident of Kankroli was standing near Nohar of Teli Samaj near Maliwada of Rajnagar police station area and talking on mobile. Meanwhile, two unknown youths who came riding a motorcycle attacked the minor with a knife. His hand got slightly injured in the attack. The police identified the injured as R.K. He was taken to the hospital and given medical treatment and on the basis of the recorded report, teams were formed to arrest the attackers. At present the atmosphere is tense. Under the direction of SP Manish Tripathi, additional police forces were deployed from the police lines along with about half a dozen police stations.
The attackers fled from the spot after stabbing
After the attack, the attackers managed to escape from the spot. Who were the attackers? No concrete information has come to light regarding this yet. After this incident, keeping all the aspects in mind, the police is collecting information from the surrounding areas and is also examining the CCTV footage installed in the area, so that the attackers can be traced.
Atmosphere tense due to incidents of stone pelting and arson
After the knife incident, Hindu community workers gathered at Rajnagar police station were passing through Nayakwadi shouting slogans. Here, people of a particular community suddenly started pelting stones from their houses near the mosque, after which a stampede broke out. Police personnel including Rajnagar CI Yogesh Chauhan, who were accompanying them, chased away the workers from there and warned the stone pelters not to pelt stones. In response, angry workers pelted stones at community-owned houses in Manak Chowk. The glass of a loading tempo parked here was broken, while a passenger tempo parked near the barber’s well near Maliwada was set on fire. The city council’s fire brigade reached the spot on information and extinguished the fire of the auto. Due to this, a large number of people from different communities gathered and raised questions on the working style of the police. However, DSP Vivek Singh pacified the crowd gathered in Nayakwadi and removed it.
