Mumbai, December 1 (IANS). Before the release of the year’s most awaited film ‘Pushpa 2’, a complaint has been filed against South superstar Allu Arjun.
Recently, during a promotional event in Mumbai, Allu Arjun addressed his fan base as ‘Army’, against which a case has been registered by a person named Srinivas Gaur. Gaur has filed a complaint against the actor at Jawahar Nagar police station in Hyderabad. He has objected to the use of the word ‘army’ for the fan base.
“We have filed a complaint against Tollywood star Allu Arjun and requested him not to use the word ‘army’ for his fan base,” Srinivas, president of Green Peace Environment and Water Harvesting Foundation, said in a video.
“Army is a respectable post, they protect our country, so you can’t call your fans this. Instead they can use other words.”
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is scheduled to release in theaters on December 5. Along with Allu Arjun in the lead role, Rashmika Mandanna in the role of ‘Srivalli’, Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil and Prakash Raj are also in important roles in the film.
Allu Arjun, who attended a press meet in Mumbai, talked about the experience of working with Rashmika Mandanna. The actor described him as a “brilliant personality”. Allu Arjun said, “I want to take two minutes to thank him for everything he has done for this film.”
He said that Rashmika’s support is huge. This film could not have been completed without Srivalli’s support. I and my director are his fans. ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is directed by Sukumar.
