Bengaluru, November 17 (IANS). Karnataka Congress spokesperson M. Lakshman filed a complaint against petitioner Snehamoyi Krishna in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (Muda) case. They demanded the police to impose Goonda Act on them and deport them.
In the complaint lodged at Lakshmipuram police station in Mysuru, Laxman described Snehamoyi Krishna as a goon and said that there were 17 criminal cases registered against him in 10 years.
He alleged that the police did not take action against him even though he was involved in blackmailing prominent personalities.
He alleged that a woman committed suicide due to his threats and two strangers claiming to be related to him demanded a huge ransom in connection with a case related to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Laxman had earlier filed a case against Snemayi Krishna for defaming the Chief Minister.
Meanwhile, Snemayee Krishna on Saturday filed a counter complaint before the Mysuru Police Commissioner demanding legal action against Congress leader Lakshman for making false allegations and filing false complaints.
He said that after his complaint in the Muda case, the Chief Minister has indirectly admitted his crime and returned 14 sites worth more than Rs 60 crore.
He said that Siddaramaiah has not returned the site because I am a rowdy person, but because I am fighting a legal battle. The court has acknowledged that I am a social worker and has also said that the police officers have filed false cases filled with hatred.
Reacting to the development, BJP state president B.Y. Vijayendra alleged that Siddaramaiah is allegedly resorting to bullying tactics against social activist Snemayee Krishna, who is fighting in the court. By deploying his followers to file false complaints, he is attempting to silence the activist.
