Confusion among candidates regarding the paper pattern of Bikaner NEET-UG 2025

Bikaner : More than 24 lakh students are in a state of confusion regarding the paper pattern of NEET-UG 2025 exam. In fact, after the announcement of the end of Covid-19 by WHO, the facility of options given till last year in the question paper of the engineering entrance examination JEE-Main has been abolished by the National Testing Agency, New Delhi in the examination to be held in the year 2025. Has been.

Based on the same logic as the abolition of Covid-19, this feature of options in the question paper is likely to be abolished in the question paper of NEET-UG 2025 also. But till now no notification has been issued in this regard. Due to which there is confusion among the candidates regarding the exam pattern. Expert Dev Sharma said that keeping in mind the interests of the students going through the difficult circumstances of Covid-19 in the year 2022, the paper pattern of the medical entrance examination NEET-UG was changed.

In the question paper, an option was given to solve any 10 questions out of 15 questions in Part-B of the four subjects Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. In such a situation, the number of questions in each subject increased from 45 to 50 and the total number of questions increased from 180 to 200.

Candidates were also given additional time of 20 minutes to read additional questions. Now, if the options in NEET – confusion are eliminated like in JEE-Main, then the paper like in year 2021 will remain confusing and there will be a loss of additional 20 minutes. In the question paper also, candidates will have to solve only 180 questions instead of 200.
