Patna, 26 November (IANS). Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan said that Congress and its allies have no moral right to speak on the Constitution.
He said that there is a reason for this also. This is the same Congress which murdered the Constitution by imposing emergency in 1975. He said that if democracy was murdered in the country at any period of time, it was done by the Congress government by imposing emergency in 1975.
He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi worked to give respect to Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. PM Modi gave respect to Baba Saheb Ambedkar by developing the places associated with him as Panchteerth. After this, Congress and its constituent parties paid tribute to Bhimrao Ambedkar. Remembered.”
He said that before 1989, there was not even a single photograph of Baba Saheb in the Parliament of India. There was not even a photograph of the creator of the Constitution, a copy of which Congress leaders carry around in their hands, in the Parliament, whereas there were photographs of all the big leaders of the Congress. He sarcastically said that the photographs of three leaders of the same family were displayed in the Central Hall of Parliament. This is the same Congress party which worked to defeat Baba Saheb. Today he is remembered as the creator of the Constitution and it is he who is remembered as the Constitution. They only know how to lie.
He said that even in the Lok Sabha elections, Congress lied that if Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister of the country for the third time, the Constitution will be murdered, reservation will end, democracy will end. Today it has been almost 6 months since the government was formed, tell me whose reservation was snatched away? Which democracy was murdered? Only lying is the job of Congress and its constituents and this is the reason why they suffer such a big defeat in a state like Maharashtra.
Union Minister Chirag Paswan said, “In a state like Haryana, where they should have got one-sided support, they face a big defeat. Now gradually the public has understood their lies. Who had celebrated Constitution Day before today?” Until Narendra Modi came to power, no one even remembered this day. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the resolution is repeated again and again. If the country will run then the Constitution will work. At the base, Congress and RJD leaders are nervous after this campaign.
On RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s demand to increase the scope of reservation, Chirag Paswan said that I do not understand why these people do not have all this in their mind when they are in the government. Why does it come to their notice when they go to the opposition?
On the opposition’s demand to give special status to Bihar, Chirag Paswan said that when his party was in power at the Center and also in Bihar, why was it not given the status? There should be uniformity in words and actions, but this is not what the opposition has.
Paswan expressed happiness over the election of an MLA from the party in Jharkhand. He said that our party is expanding in other states also. After Nagaland, we now have an MLA in Jharkhand also. He said that the dream of our leader Ram Vilas Paswan is being fulfilled.
