Congress had given reservation when Amit Shah was not even born: Pramod Tiwari

Mumbai, November 12 (IANS). MP Pramod Tiwari raised questions on Union Home Minister Amit Shah calling Congress an anti-reservation party. Talking to IANS, he said that when Amit Shah was not born, Congress had given reservation at that time.

Congress MP Pramod Tiwari, speaking to IANS on the Maharashtra Assembly elections, said, “Here a united government was removed and in its place a treacherous government came, which broke everyone’s trust. The self-respecting people of Maharashtra have made up their mind that the Mahayuti will go and Mahavikas Aghadi government will be formed with full majority. Our alliance is very strong and the morale of the workers is also high.

Pramod Tiwari raised questions on Amit Shah’s statement and said, “When Amit Shah was not even born, Congress had given reservation. He should read the history and the Constitution. I allege that the BJP is not following the Constitution of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.” It wants to abolish the Constitution and bring a Modi-Shah constitution, but this will not be accomplished as long as Congress is in power.”

The Congress MP also attacked BJP. He said, “BJP has a habit that first their leader fights and when he has to face defeat, his twin brother Owaisi is called, when even that doesn’t work. After this, CBI is put to work. “

He further said, “BJP’s ideas have the DNA of the British. Divide and Rule was the slogan of the British and BJP has also adopted it. The Prime Minister is saying the same thing, but it is unfortunate for the chair of this country, on which Nehru Leaders like Indira, Shastri and Atal Bihari Vajpayee were sitting on that chair, now a Prime Minister is sitting on that chair, who instead of uniting, is talking about breaking.”

Referring to the announcement of Mahayuti, Pramod Tiwari said that the stand of Congress is clear, we are going to give more than what these people will give. Congress is credible, that is why people are trusting us. We have fulfilled what we promised in Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka. We will fulfill each and every promise of ours in Maharashtra.
