Jaipur : speeches, big statements, strong atmosphere… but the pandal was empty. A similar scene was seen in the Congress protest in Jaipur on Thursday. The protest called against Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu, who called Rahul Gandhi a terrorist, did not attract the crowd that was expected. Many big leaders including Congress PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie were present in the protest held near the Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur. But even after this, the crowd remained low in this protest. Dotasara also looked angry with this indifference of the workers. Actually, even the crowd of workers did not gather in today’s protest of Congress. In such a situation, the question has started arising that how will the Congress organize a big mass movement in the state? As an opposition party, the Congress has not been able to organize a single big public movement in the last 9 months.
Not a single major mass movement in 9 months
It has been almost 9 months since Bhajan Lal government was formed in the state. On one hand, the state Congress leaders are seen attacking BJP in every statement but in the last 9 months, Congress has not been able to create a single big mass movement in the state. Whether it is the issue of farmers related to excessive rainfall or the issue related to road, electricity, water. Congress leaders are seen only making statements in the media, the condition of Congress does not seem to be good on the ground.
Many big leaders are silent against BJP
Many senior Congress leaders who were ministers in the previous government are now seen shying away from speaking against the BJP government of the state. In the previous government, a senior Congress leader had even taken out a march from Ajmer to Jaipur against his own government. Currently, despite being in the opposition, the Congress has not been able to launch a movement against the state government.
There was a large crowd of media and policemen in the protest
Today, the State Congress Committee protested at the Shahid Smarak in Jaipur against the comments made by BJP leaders on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. But the crowd of media and policemen at the Shahid Smarak was more than the Congress leaders and workers. If the situation in Jaipur city is like this, then what will be the situation in the rest of the state?
Dotasara said- if you want to leave Congress and go to BJP then go
However, PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasara advised the leaders from the stage. He said that some leaders use very restrained language, if they are afraid of anything, they can leave Congress and join BJP, we do not need such people. Dotasara also appeared angry due to lack of crowd in the protest. It is being told that information is being gathered about this matter from the inside by the PCC.

If experts are to be believed, the current president of Jaipur city Congress Committee is RR Tiwari. Earlier also, many protests were organized by the District Congress Committee, and the reason for the lack of sufficient crowd there was also the rift among the local leaders. There is a tussle going on between the local leaders and the current District President.
PCC chief may ask for report soon
The PCC chief seems to be serious about this whole matter. It is being said that soon a report will be sought from the District Congress Committee in this matter, and reports will also be sought from the officials of the 8 assembly seats of the city. On the basis of that, local leaders will be given importance in the upcoming municipal elections.
