Congress in power for three elections, will BJP be able to break the losing streak?

Alwar : By-elections are about to be sounded on seven assembly seats of Alwar Pradesh. Probably the code of conduct will be imposed in October and elections are likely to be held in November. In such a situation, both BJP and Congress parties have intensified election preparations. By-election will also be held on Ramgarh assembly seat of Alwar. This seat, which became vacant after the death of Zuber Khan, has been held by Congress for the last three elections. In the elections held in the year 2013, Zubair Khan of Congress had won here. In the 2018 assembly elections, by-elections were held here after the death of BSP candidate Laxman Chaudhary, in which Safia Zuber of Congress won. Zuber Khan had won from here on Congress ticket in the assembly elections held last year. The margin of victory was also good. In such a situation, the discussions are already that the path of BJP cannot be so easy.

Zuber’s family may get tickets

Sympathy seemed to dominate the by-election. The Congress party will contest the elections by giving ticket to a member of Zuber Khan’s family. BJP will also contest elections with full strength. This is the reason why the party has started brainstorming for ticket selection here. Apart from the local level, the party is also conducting surveys at the state level. So that the party can win by fielding suitable candidates.

Ticket selection is not easy in BJP

The biggest task for BJP on this seat is ticket selection. Apart from Jai Ahuja and Sukhwant Singh, Banwari Lal Singhal, who has been MLA from Alwar city twice, is also staking claim from here. Sukhwant had rebelled against BJP in the 2023 elections and contested from Azad Samajwadi Party and stood second. He had re-entered BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. Jai Ahuja is also describing himself as strong on the basis of his activism in the field.Alwar Regarding Ramgarh by-election, the administration gave training to Sector Officers, District Level Reserve FST, SST, VST in Pratap Auditorium on Sunday.
