Jaipur : Congress will now take strict action against fake news, content and posts on social media. The legal cell of Congress has prepared a big plan for this. An FIR will be lodged immediately for spreading lies against the party and top leaders on social media platforms. For this, the Law Department will form quick response teams across the country.
Encouraged by the Lok Sabha elections, Congress is now seen active on every front. Congress, which was on the backfoot on social media till now, is now preparing to play on the frontfoot here as well. The legal department of Congress has prepared a special action plan for this. The maximum focus will be on putting an immediate break on fake news, posts and content. For this, legal action will be taken against those who spread fake news on a large scale.
This decision has been taken in view of the problems being faced due to the continuous fake news being run against its top leaders. The head of the department Abhishek Singhvi himself will lead this entire procedure. Singhvi said that quick response teams will be formed to deal with these things. Legal experts will be included in these teams up to the district level across the country. The formation of special quick response teams will first start from those states where elections are currently being held. After that these teams will be formed in Rajasthan and the organization will be expanded. It is being told that due to the new social and digital media policy of the Uttar Pradesh government, the Congress has decided to take this aggressive step.
