Jaipur : Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee President Govind Singh Dotasara will hold a meeting on Wednesday (September 18) at 11 am. Will discuss the strategy for the by-elections to be held on 7 seats in Rajasthan. Will take feedback from the leaders about the ticket claimants.

All India Congress Committee’s Rajasthan in-charge Sukhwinder Singh Randhawa will also attend the meeting. There will be a meeting of prominent Congress leaders of Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Deoli-Uniyara, Khinvsar, Salumber, Chaurasi and Ramgarh assembly constituencies. They will formulate strategies for Congress’ work and preparations for the by-elections. By-elections will be held on these assembly seats of Rajasthan.

Deoli Uniara Assembly seat, Congress MLA Harish Meena has now become an MP.
Dausa Assembly seat, Congress MLA Murarilal Meena has now become an MP.
Jhunjhunu Assembly seat, Congress MLA Brijendra Ola has now become an MP.
Chaurasi Assembly seat, BAP MLA Rajkumar Roat has now become an MP.
Khinvsar Assembly seat, RLP MLA Hanuman Beniwal has now become an MP.
Salumber assembly seat, BJP MLA Amritlal Meena has passed away.
Ramgarh assembly seat, Congress MLA Zubair Khan has passed away.
By-election will be held for the second time on Alwar’s Ramgarh seat
By-elections will be held for the second time in Alwar’s Ramgarh assembly. Last time in the year 2018, the elections were postponed after the death of Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Laxman Singh during the election campaign. After that by-elections were held. In the 2023 assembly elections, Zuber Khan won as a Congress candidate. But now he passed away after illness.
