Congress party starts from the doorstep of the family and ends there: Tarun Chugh

New Delhi, November 12 (IANS). Congress Party National President Mallikarjun Kharge, while addressing an election rally recently, had given a controversial statement about the Bharatiya Janata Party and its MLAs. National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Tarun Chugh has condemned this statement of the Congress President.

Speaking to IANS, he said, “In the Congress party where democracy does not exist, the entire party starts from the doorstep of a particular family and ends at the same doorstep. Where there is a serious lack of ideology and leadership. The entire Congress party is in crisis today and a mentally unstable leader is trying to run the party, who is just a victim of frustration and despair. This is why his rhetoric has become completely absurd and meaningless.”

On JMM’s talk of 33 per cent reservation in Jharkhand government jobs, he said, “The talks about women empowerment from the mouth of those who cannot respect women in their homes, abuse and harass women are completely baseless. This is just a political trick and drama done in view of the defeat.”

Let us tell you that preparations are in full swing for the first phase of elections to be held in Jharkhand on November 13. Under the first phase, the dispatch of polling parties has started in many districts for the voting to be held on November 13. On Monday, deputed personnel were dispatched for election duty at 225 polling stations located in inaccessible and remote areas of five districts of the state, West Singhbhum, Latehar, Lohardaga, Gumla and Garhwa. For the first phase, voting will start on 43 assembly seats from 7 am on November 13.
