Mumbai, November 14 (IANS). Shiv Sena Shinde faction candidate Sanjay Nirupam has strongly reacted to Kanhaiya Kumar’s statement in which he had made controversial remarks about Amrita Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
In fact, Kanhaiya Kumar, during an event in Nagpur, had taunted the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra by saying that when the leader talks about religious war, his wife makes a “reel” on Instagram. This statement of Kanhaiya Kumar immediately got embroiled in controversy, and sharp reactions are coming out regarding it.
Sanjay Nirupam termed Kanhaiya Kumar’s statement as wrong and condemnable and said that this comment is completely inappropriate and derogatory. Today women are demonstrating their ability in every field. This statement is wrong not only for Amrita Fadnavis but for all women who should be respected.
Sanjay Nirupam also said that Kanhaiya Kumar should apologize publicly for this statement. He said that this hurts the feeling of respect for women in the society. Today women are progressing in every field. This statement of his is wrong and I oppose it, he should apologize.
Sanjay Nirupam also gave a statement on the new slogan of Congress “If we divide, our pockets will be cut”. He supported the slogan “Batenge to Katenge” given by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the statement given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Ek hain toh safe hain” and said that unity is strength.
He said that those who talk about division can never move towards the unity of the country. Most respected Baba Saheb Ambedkar ji and Sahu Maharaj ji had always talked about remaining united and this is the right path. There is no thinker who says against uniting, there is only one thinker and that is the Congress people who talk about divide and rule. He said, “Congress people say that we should remain divided so that we get a chance to earn our bread.”
