At the same time, MLA Rafiq Khan from Adarsh ​​Nagar assembly seat of Jaipur district has been made the Chief Whip. Before the by-elections in Rajasthan, Congress has given a big responsibility to these two MLAs. According to political experts, this decision of Congress is being linked to the caste equation. Congress has taken this decision after the Lok Sabha election results. While the Congress has given the state president to the Jat community, the Leader of Opposition to the SC community and the Deputy Leader of Opposition to the ST. Now the Chief Whip has been made from the Muslim community.

Ramkesh Meena was made deputy leader of the opposition

MLA Ramkesh Meena was elected MLA for the third time in the assembly elections 2023. Meena has previously held the post of Parliamentary Secretary in the Ashok Gehlot government. Ramkesh Meena contested the 2003 election on a BSP ticket. In which he had to face defeat. After this, he reached the assembly by winning from BSP in 2008. After this, he contested the 2013 assembly elections on a Congress ticket, but he had to face defeat. At the same time, in 2018, after the Congress cut his ticket, he contested as an independent and defeated BJP’s Mansingh and became MLA.

Rafiq Khan was made Chief Whip
Rafiq Khan is an MLA from Adarsh ​​Nagar assembly seat of Jaipur city. He contested the election from Adarsh ​​Nagar assembly in 2023 and defeated BJP candidate Ravi Nayyar. Earlier in the 2018 assembly elections, he defeated two-time MLA Ashok Parnami from Adarsh ​​Nagar.
