Congress should clarify its relationship with foreigners like Soros: Anurag Thakur

New Delhi, December 9 (IANS). BJP has accused former Congress President Sonia Gandhi of belonging to an organization which is funded by the George Soros Foundation. On Monday, all the NDA leaders put forward a proposal for discussion in the House on this matter, on which the opposition expressed its objection. A round of reactions continues on opposition’s opposition to the discussion. Former Union Minister Anurag Thakur also reacted in this regard.

While talking to IANS, Anurag Thakur asked what is the relation between Congress and foreign funding? And what is the relationship of these political parties and leaders with George Soros called? He said that questions arise on Congress as to why it is silent about foreign funding? Congress should clarify what its relationship is with foreigners like Soros? If this relationship is harming democracy then why is Congress maintaining it?

He said that why does Congress not raise the voice of 140 crore citizens of the country? Is Congress working on the agenda of opposition leaders? Congress figures are falling, their government is also falling and the public is rejecting them. Congress adopts such tactics out of despair and frustration. Now the question arises that what will be the way forward for Congress, because their politics has completely failed.
