Jaipur : Rajasthan Assembly’s budget session is going on. Congress walked out on the Shankar Meghwal murder case. Opposition boycotted today’s proceedings. The Salumbhar murder case echoed in the House. Congress Legislature Party created a ruckus on the Salumbhar murder case. There was a ruckus on the issue of giving compensation. Opposition members walked out while raising slogans. Congress MLAs walked out on the Salumbhar murder case.

Demand for compensation in Meghwal murder case:

PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara said that Dalit Shankar Meghwal was murdered, but the government is not even bothered. During elections, BJP used to say that Rajasthan will not tolerate it. The government is not giving even a rupee as compensation. We demanded compensation in the Meghwal murder case in the House. The CM is the Home Minister, but the situation is pathetic. In the discussion of the Home Ministry, sometimes who is answering and sometimes who else. Sometimes Jogaram Patel and sometimes Gajendra Khinvsar are answering. Today, the limit has been crossed in the Shankar Meghwal case. The government has refused to give financial compensation and contractual job to the victim’s family.

The opposition party made noise:

The minister replied in the assembly on law and order. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said that can the murder of Kanhaiya Lal and the murder of Shankar Lal be considered the same? Kanhaiya Lal was murdered in the same circumstances and with the same purpose. The person who killed Shankar Lal committed suicide by slitting his throat with a sword. The government will give complete information about this to the House from time to time. Not satisfied with the answer of the Parliamentary Affairs Minister, the opposition party started making noise.

You get the compensation fixed, we are ready to listen:

Chairman Sandeep Sharma said that the reason for the murder will be decided and then compensation will also be given. This is what the minister says. The opposition members started raising slogans of give justice to Shankar Lal, give justice. After this, the Speaker of the Assembly came to the chair in place of the Chairman and he instructed all the opposition members to go to their seats. Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie said that the chair had made an arrangement yesterday that the government will give a reply. Our only demand was that the victim should be given compensation, but the government’s reply came in which not a single word was said that if another incident happens and the government gives a compensation of 50 lakhs, then if a Dalit dies, should compensation not be given. If any other person gets a government job, then why should a Dalit not get a job? Tikaram Julie said that you get the compensation decided, we are ready to listen.
