Congress took to the streets to get justice for the deaf and mute girl in Rajasthan, demanding a CBI inquiry

Karauli : Congress workers and youth protested outside the district collectorate in the case of the death of a 10-year-old deaf and mute girl in Hindaun of Karauli district. They also staged a dharna on the road and submitted a memorandum to the DM demanding a CBI inquiry into the case. A large number of workers and youth were present during this time.

Police accused of not conducting fair investigation

While accusing the state government, the protesters said that the police did not conduct a fair investigation in the case. In such a situation, the case should be investigated by the CBI. Before this, Congress workers also organized an outrage meeting behind the Government PG College. This meeting was addressed by Karauli-Dholpur’s newly elected MP Bhajanlal Jatav, Hindaun MLA Anita Jatav. All of them accused the police of not conducting a fair investigation. They also said that the case should be investigated impartially by the CBI and the culprits should be arrested soon.

Let us tell you that 10-year-old girl Meena (name changed) was found burnt near the railway line passing through Hindaun Nai Mandi police station area on 9 May. The girl was admitted to Hindaun Hospital for treatment. From where she was referred to Jaipur in critical condition. But she died during treatment in Jaipur. SIT investigation was conducted for this case, in which the girl’s maternal uncle and parents have been arrested on charges of giving pesticide to the deaf and mute girl during treatment, hiding the facts of the incident and misleading the police. But as things are still completely unclear, a CBI investigation of the case is being demanded.
