After Tonk, police has also taken major action against fake notes of Rs 500 in Balotra district. During this time, the DST team of police has recovered fake notes worth about Rs 9 lakh from the possession of a youth. The police is now busy in exposing the gang involved in counterfeit currency notes.
Fake notes worth Rs 9 lakh found in youth’s possession during blockade
Police carried out this major action in Jasol police station area of Balotra district. During the blockade, the DST team caught a youth traveling on a bike on Asotra Road. When the police searched him, fake notes of Rs 500 were found in his possession. The face value of these fake notes is Rs 8 lakh 97 thousand 500. On this the police has arrested the accused Bharat Kumar son of Harchand Ram. Apart from this, a bike has also been seized from the possession of the accused.
Fake notes are such that whoever sees them gets confused whether it is real or fake.
Police said that fake notes were found in the possession of the accused. Everyone will be stunned after seeing them. No one can easily guess whether the note is real or fake? The printing on these notes was made with high quality. Which no normal person can identify between real and fake. The serial numbers of all the fake notes found from the accused are also different. The young man used to sell fake notes of Rs 1 lakh in exchange for Rs 40 thousand. Police have expressed suspicion of involvement of a big gang in the issue of fake currency. At present, the police have contacted the accused and his gang and where else the notes were supplied. A detailed inquiry is being conducted regarding this.
Police busted gang in Tonk too
Let us tell you that in Tonk too, a day before the Diwali festival, the police exposed a gang supplying fake notes. During this time, the police arrested two accused and recovered fake notes worth ₹ 21 thousand 500. All these notes were of 500 rupees. After interrogating the arrested accused, the police tried to arrest the main accused, but he escaped after getting the opportunity. Here, the police have registered a case against the accused and are searching for others. Earlier in August too, fake notes were recovered in Jaipur.
