Jaipur : After Kanpur, an attempt to derail a train has also come to light from Ajmer. In Ajmer, miscreants placed cement blocks weighing 100 kg at two places between Saradhana and Bangar Village railway station. Due to which the goods train collided. During inspection, RPF personnel found a large concrete block, weighing about 100 kg, which was placed on the track in an attempt to derail the train. The train engine crushed the block, due to which its pieces were scattered at the spot. Thankfully, no major accident occurred. The incident happened on Sunday night on the Phulera to Ahmedabad route. This goods train was going from Phulera to Ahmedabad.

The report has been filed by Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation (DFCC) employees Ravi Bundela and Vishwajit Das. According to the report, on 8 September at 10:36 pm, information was received that a cement block was kept on the track. When we reached the spot, we found that it had broken and fallen. One kilometer ahead, another block was broken and kept on the side. Both these blocks were kept at different places. After this, DFCC and Railway Protection Force (RPF) together patrolled from Saradhana to Bangar Gram Station. During this time, the situation was found to be normal.

In this regard, RPF has registered an FIR against unknown persons at Mangaliyawas Police Station and further investigation is underway to nab the culprits.
Last month, not once but thrice a conspiracy was hatched to cause a train accident
Earlier, on 23 August, a conspiracy was hatched to derail the Vande Bharat train in Rajasthan in Pali district. The Ahmedabad-Jodhpur Vande Bharat train collided with a cement block. After investigating it, a case was registered in Sumerpur police station of Pali. Earlier also a similar case was reported in Pali. After this incident, on 28 August, the chassis of a bike was kept on the tracks in Chhabra area in Baran district. When a goods train passed from there, the chassis got stuck in it. Later the loco pilot stopped the goods train and informed the police. RPF, GRP and local police investigated. Now, after about ten days, this case has come to light.
