All the passengers and their luggage present in the bus were searched but the purse was not found.
Came to know about pickpocketing while sitting in the bus
Constable Prahlad, posted at Bhilwara SP office, along with his family had come to Jhantala Mata temple in Pandoli on Sunday for darshan. Roadways bus reached back to Bhilwara at night. Took a ticket from here and sat in a standing bus going to Bhilwara. During that time he came to know that the purse kept in the back pocket of his pants was missing. Some unknown miscreant picked his pocket. He immediately informed the driver and conductor about this. There was panic around the news of pickpocketing. The driver immediately informed this to the Kotwali police station located in front of the Roadways bus stand. Kotwali police also reached the spot.
Left empty handed even after search
The police searched all the passengers and their bags one by one but remained empty handed during the search. During this time, along with the family, all the passengers in the bus were also worried. Everyone also appeared worried about their bags and purses. There were about two and a half thousand rupees and other cards and documents in the purse.
