Jaipur : There is a strong possibility of rain continuing in the entire state of Rajasthan on Monday as well. Earlier on Sunday, there was a heavy downpour of rain in many parts of the state. During this, flood-like conditions arose in many districts of Rajasthan. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in some parts of Ajmer, Kota and Udaipur divisions on Monday. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding Monday’s weather, in which orange alert has been issued in more than a dozen districts and light to moderate rainfall is expected. Apart from this, yellow alert has been issued for more than half a dozen districts.
Orange alert in these districts, clouds will rain heavily
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for more than a dozen districts at 7 am on Monday. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms along with rain. A yellow alert has been issued for districts including Tonk, Bundi, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Pali, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Jalore, Sirohi. There is a possibility of heavy rain in these districts.
Yellow alert in more than half a dozen districts
According to the Meteorological Department, the rain will continue in many districts of the state on August 5. During this time, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for more than half a dozen districts. Kota, Jhalawar, Jaipur, Baran, Sikar, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Nagaur districts are also likely to receive light to moderate rain with thunder. The highest rainfall in Rajasthan on Wednesday was recorded in Arai of Ajmer, where 102 mm of rain was recorded.
Meteorological department issued warning
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in more than a dozen districts on Monday. For which the Meteorological Department issued a warning in those areas and said that there is a possibility of waterlogging in low-lying areas and there may be a sudden surge in water in rivers and rain drains. Apart from this, waterlogging may also increase in places like underpasses etc., in such a situation people have been advised to be cautious in waterlogged areas.
