Contract laborer dies after climbing electric pole in Dausa Bandikui

Dausa News Desk: A contract worker climbing an electric pole died due to electrocution. After this the angry villagers blocked the road. The incident took place in Katar Wada village of Bandikui area. The angry villagers did not allow the body to be taken down from the pillar. Remained adamant on demanding action against rural corporation officials. After 9 hours of talks with the MLA, a compromise was reached and the body was brought down. Villagers said- Murari Lal Saini (42), posted as a contract worker at Gudkatla GSS, had come to Katar Wada village at 10 am on Thursday to fix the fault. Shutdown was taken during this period.

Suddenly power supply started. Due to this the contract worker got electrocuted and he died. He told that the contract worker kept writhing in pain on the electric pole for about 20 minutes. The body of the contract worker is still lying on top of the electric pole. The villagers are not allowing the dead body to be taken down. Villagers say that first of all action should be taken against the electricity corporation officials. How did the power supply start suddenly? During this time, AEN DP of Basava Vidyut Nigam, who reached the spot, was surrounded by the villagers and reprimanded him fiercely. The villagers remained adamant on the demand of calling senior officials.
