On which sharp comments are coming from people. People are saying that Rajasthan is known for welcoming tourists. The culture of Rajasthan has been to welcome guests with an open heart. But some people now seem to be trying to tarnish the image of the state.
Many people visit Rajasthan during Diwali season. Now incidents of misbehavior and assault with tourists have come to light. After which questions have started being raised regarding the safety of tourists in Rajasthan. The latest case is being reported from Ambaji area of Abu Road on Monday evening. An altercation broke out at a liquor shop here between local people and tourists from Gujarat over some issue. Within no time the matter escalated. After which the local people started beating the Gujarati tourists with sticks. A Gujarati tourist made a video of the incident. Later it was made viral on social media.
People said- it was the tourists who showed the knife
People alleged that tourists from Gujarat had shown a knife to a local shopkeeper. According to Rajasthan Police, the tourists first started abusing. Only after which the dispute took place. Police say that the video has gone viral. In which 3-4 people can be seen fighting with sticks. The police have registered a case under the section of breach of peace. 2 people have been arrested. People are also raising questions on the police regarding the matter. Debate is also being seen on social media regarding the safety of tourists.
A few days ago, a case was also reported in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. There was a dispute between tourists and rafting guides in the rafting area Munikireti-Kaudiyala Eco Tourism Zone. After which the tourists were beaten with rudders. The video of this case also went viral. After which the police arrested 3 people.
