Controversy over singer Diljit’s show in Jaipur, clouds of crisis loom after ED raid

During this time, a case of large scale fraud by selling fake tickets of Diljit’s show has come to light. After this, ED on Sunday also conducted raids in Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Mumbai and Bengaluru including the capital Jaipur. In this case, ED received a complaint of large scale money laundering by selling fake tickets. ED has also detained some suspicious people in this case. At the same time, ED is continuously engaged in action regarding this matter.

Diljit’s show came into controversy even before 3rd November

Let us tell you that the show of famous singer Diljit Dosanjh is going to be organized at JECC Sitapur on 3rd November. Due to this, ED received a complaint that fake tickets of the show were being sold. Regarding this, ED fears that money is being misappropriated on a large scale through fake tickets. In this case, ED on Sunday also conducted simultaneous raids in half a dozen big cities of the country including the capital. In this, ED has found many important evidences including online transactions. ED is busy taking further action regarding this.

Two people detained in case of fake tickets

On November 3, a complaint was received with ED regarding selling of fake tickets for singer Diljit Dosanjh’s show at JECC Sitapura, Jaipur. On this, ED conducted a search operation at two places in Jaipur, where two people have been detained in this case. Apart from this, the laptop and mobile found there have also been confiscated, which are being investigated. Regarding this matter, ED is investigating all the aspects like how fake tickets are being prepared and how the money is being adjusted by selling them.

Rs 50 thousand to Rs 2 lakh black on tickets of Diljit’s show

Fake tickets are being used extensively for Diljit’s show to be held in Jaipur. Tickets for this show are being booked through Book My Show and Zomato Live, where their price ranges from Rs 3000 to Rs 15000, but in this game, fake tickets, which are prepared exactly, are being sold through social media. Regarding this, through social media, these tickets are being charged from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 2 lakh. On this complaint, ED raided 13 different places by extracting IP addresses through social media, where suspicious people were also detained. Apart from this, many evidences of digital transactions have also been found. ED is busy analyzing the mobile phones and laptops found during the raid.
