Counting of votes for Dausa assembly by-election seats will take place today

Dausa : Counting of votes for the assembly by-election in Dausa will start from 8 am on Saturday in the PG block of Pandit Naval Kishore Sharma Government PG College. All preparations have been completed by the Election Department regarding this. The counting of votes cast through postal ballot will begin here at 8 am.

Separate tables have been set up for counting of votes cast by service employed voters and through home voting.

First of all, all the ETPB ballot papers received by the Returning Officer will be included in the counting. After this, counting of votes from EVM machines will start from 8.30 am. 17 tables have been set up for this. Counting of votes will be completed in 18 rounds depending on the number of voters.

District Election Officer Devendra Kumar said that preparations for counting of votes have been completed in room number 13 of PG block of Pandit Naval Kishore Sharma Government PG College, and ETPBS pre-counting will be done in room number 14. Out of 17 tables, 14 tables have been installed for EVMs, while 3 tables have been installed for postal ballot. Apart from this, 4 tables have been prescribed for ETPBS.
