Nagaur : Nagaur Judicial Magistrate has ordered an impartial investigation by another officer in a case of dowry harassment and presenting the report in the court. Female police station in-charge Samjida Bano was investigating the case. In this regard, Advocate Peer Mohammad, on behalf of the victim, presented an application and raised questions on the investigation and accused the station in-charge of giving relief to other named accused. In the application submitted by Tamanna, a resident of Pathan Ka Mohalla, the advocate said that she had filed a case of dowry harassment against her husband Khushi Mohammad in the women’s police station. It was told in it that at the time of marriage with Khushi Mohammad, a lot of dowry was given.
After this, father-in-law Khaju Khan, mother-in-law Amina Bano, sister-in-law Tasleem, sister-in-law Rahisa and Rajiya, sister-in-law Yunus Khan started harassing her for dowry. After the assault, he was released after not bringing Rs 10 lakh. In the application, he said that an impartial investigation was not being conducted due to the pressure of the police officer, a relative of the accused. The dowry items have not been recovered yet. The accused husband is threatening that there will be no challan against him, arrangements have been made for the same. In this case, the investigating officer gave relief to the mother-in-law and other accused without investigation. Neither any kind of recovery nor research was done. The court heard this. Chief Judicial Magistrate Suman Saharan asked the SP to conduct an unbiased investigation by some other officer and present its report in the court. On the other hand, Mahila police station in-charge Samjida Bano said that it was a case of dowry harassment, one side of the investigation Also remains dissatisfied.
