Cow dies due to collision with pickup truck in Sriganganagar Anupgarh

Sri Ganganagar : in the street located in front of Anupgarh Police Station, at around 9:30 pm on Monday night, a speeding pickup vehicle hit a cow standing on the roadside, due to which the cow died on the spot. After the accident a crowd gathered at the spot. Taking advantage of the crowd, the pickup driver fled along with the vehicle.

As soon as information about the incident was received, cow devotees informed Anupgarh police station. On information, Head Constable Padam Singh reached the spot and started investigation.

Cow devotees told that a pickup driver was driving at high speed and carelessly. Meanwhile, the pickup hit the cows standing on the roadside. The collision was so strong that the cow died on the spot.

Head constable Padam Singh said that at present the vehicle that collided has not been identified. He said that investigation is going on based on the report given by cow devotees regarding the incident. In this case, the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the surrounding area is being scrutinized.
