Jaipur : Anti-social elements have thrown acid on dozens of cows in Daulatpura, Jaipur. The cows have been sent to Hingonia Gaushala for treatment. Who threw the acid? Why? No concrete information has been found about this. Municipal corporation workers and local people are trying to catch the cows and send them for treatment, but the cows injured in the acid attack are running here and there. Therefore, all the cows could not be sent for treatment. Local animal lover Abha says, ‘I saw a cow on which acid was thrown the day before yesterday. After this, I contacted the local veterinary doctor and then conveyed the matter to the employees of the Municipal Corporation.’ After receiving the information, Heritage Municipal Corporation Mayor Munesh Gurjar also reached there and gave instructions to rescue the cows. The doctors treating them in Hingonia Gaushala have confirmed that the cows were injured by acid.
The police has reached the spot and is investigating the matter. Many people say in hushed tones that these cows used to come into the farmers’ fields. This caused damage to the farmers. They had also complained several times. It is possible that one of them may have carried out this incident. However, the matter will be clear only after a thorough police investigation.
