Sirohi : Sirohi Central School, Abu Parvat is organizing a 10-day Bagless Day with the aim of explaining the importance of skills and arts along with studies. In this series, the students of the school from class 6th to 8th learned the art of making pottery on wheel and other things from Priyadarshi Vyas. Addressing the event, Principal Om Prakash Jakhar said that its main objective is to give students creative and practical skills. Had to gain experience. These types of activities encourage interest and creativity in art in children. Through this, self-confidence develops in students. Children learned the art of balancing, creativity and managing the consistency and texture of clay on the clay wheel.
Vocational training in-charge Girija Sharma said that in these ten days, children will be made proficient by training them in various vocational tasks. Which includes making various shapes from wood etc. Teacher in-charge Sunil Kumar said that as per the recommendation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, all the students of classes VI to VIII will undergo training from local skill experts during the ten-day Bagless Day. By doing an internship with them, they will be able to develop themselves holistically by engaging in activities outside traditional school. Many teachers including Rohitas Saini, Dinesh Yadav, Bhanwar Lal, Maganaram Mali, Kumar Anand Ambuj were present on this occasion.
