Police claim that brother Jeetu Lega had hatched a conspiracy to avenge the murder of Anil Lega in Khedi village last January. No one could even find out about this. A youth from Balotra was involved in the conspiracy and both of them got the murder done by giving betel nut. According to the police, in the investigation so far in the case, Jitendra alias Jeetu Lega, originally a resident of Khedi village, Mahadev Nagar, has come to the fore. Two months ago, the deceased Subhash Sou, originally a resident of Khedi Hall, Sangriya Fanta, was granted bail in the Anil Lega murder case. Then, to avenge the murder of his brother, Jitendra had conspired to commit murder. Anil, resident of Kudi village of Balotra district, was included in this. Since deceased Subhash had started selling MD drugs. Therefore, Anil had contacted Subhash through social media five-seven days ago on the pretext of buying MD drugs. In this regard, there was a lot of chat between the two through messages.
The shooter could not be found
Being an unknown person, Subhash had once expressed his ignorance regarding MD drugs to Anil, but Anil kept messaging him. Eventually Subhash agreed to sell him drugs. Then Jitendra and Anil had arranged for betel nut killer. At present, the police have identified Jitendra Lega and Anil, resident of Kudi village, in the murder case. The shooter has not been found. Police are interrogating the family members of the accused. Police raided the house of Jitendra Lega in Mahadev Nagar, but found it locked. While talking to the people nearby, it was revealed that the family members were there till noon. Have not been seen since then. Jitendra was also in Banar and surrounding areas on Monday night. Probably everyone went missing some time before the massacre.

After the murder, the accused fled with a bike parked on the main road. When the area residents chased them, both of them left the bike and ran away through Sangriya Bypass. This bike was found stolen from Merta, Nagaur two months ago.
Uncle lodged FIR, body handed over
Police say that in this case, the deceased’s uncle Chainaram Bishnoi, originally a resident of Khedi village Hall Sangriya Fanta, lodged an FIR for murder against Jitendra alias Jeetu Lega, his father Papparam and two others. The police conducted the post-mortem and handed over the body to the family, which was taken to the village for the last rites.
