Udaipur : A teacher was murdered with a sword late Thursday evening in Adwas village of Jawarmines police station area of Salumber district of Udaipur. According to the information, on Thursday evening, teacher Shankarlal (40) son of Dalchand Meghwal was murdered with a sword by an unknown attacker in front of his house.
Police busy investigating the matter
While trying to intervene on the spot, the deceased’s father Dalchand was attacked, due to which he was seriously injured. District Police Superintendent Arshad Ali said that as soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police took the injured to the nearest hospital Jawad. Where after first aid, he was referred to Udaipur. District Police Superintendent said that the accused of the murder was named and police teams were formed to arrest him and were sent to different places. The reason behind the murder could not be ascertained in the initial investigation. The police is engaged in investigating the case.
father’s condition is critical
The father’s condition is still critical due to excessive bleeding. The deceased son was a teacher in a primary school. The deceased has three children. After the incident, the villagers have demanded the immediate arrest of the accused. The police is searching for the attacker. Additional police force has also been deployed from the police line. The deceased teacher’s younger brother Prakash Meghwal said that he was near the house at the time of the incident. By the time he ran to the house, the accused had fled.
