Hanumangarh : Lawrence Gang has threatened senior doctor of Hanumangarh, Dr. Paras Jain, and demanded ransom, after which Dr. Paras Jain has lodged a complaint in the Town Police Station. The doctor told that he has been receiving WhatsApp calls and messages in the name of Rohit Godara and Anmol Vishnoi for several days, in which he is being threatened with death if the ransom is not paid. At the same time, the Town Police Station says that the case has been registered and it is being investigated. The shadow of Lawrence Gang has started looming over Hanumangarh district once again. Earlier also, many cases of ransom threats to the city councilors, businessmen and doctors had come to light. Once again, Hanumangarh’s reputed doctor Dr. Paras Jain received a ransom call and was also threatened with death if the ransom was not paid.
Threatening calls keep coming
Doctor Paras Jain registered a case in Hanumangarh Town Police Station and told that he has been receiving WhatsApp calls continuously since June 25 and Rohit Godara’s name is written on the call. Due to this, he did not even receive his call. But the calls kept coming continuously and when the call was not attended, a WhatsApp message also came. It is written in the message that should I call Anmol Bishnoi. After this, another message came in which it was written to pick up the call.
“Isn’t life dear to you?”
On 26th June at 10:00 am, he received a call on WhatsApp from this number but he did not receive it and then a WhatsApp message came in which it was written “Jaan Pyari Nahi Hai Kya?” After this, another message came in which it was written “Call Utha Le”. Being disturbed by this, he has lodged a complaint in the Town Police Station.
Paras Jain has received threats earlier too
Earlier also, Dr. Paras Jain has received death threats. Earlier in January 2023, Dr. Paras Jain was threatened for ransom by the Lawrence Gang. On which the Town Police arrested 6 people including Hrithik Boxer and after about one and a half years, Dr. Paras Jain has again been threatened by the Lawrence Gang. Earlier, many businessmen, councilors and doctors of Hanumangarh were threatened for ransom by the Lawrence Gang and after about one and a half years, now there is an atmosphere of panic due to the threat again.
Police is investigating the matter
Investigating officer Town Thana SI Jyoti said that the doctor is being threatened and ransom is being demanded in the name of gangsters Rohit Godara and Anmol Bishnoi and a case has been registered in the Town Thana. The police is investigating the matter as to where the call has come from and which number it is coming from. It is a matter of investigation whether it is a fake call or some other person is demanding ransom in the guise of Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
