Jhunjhunu : In Khanpur of Singhana police station area, on Wednesday evening, a history-sheeter shot a woman working at home. The woman injured by the bullet was brought to the government hospital of Singhana, where she was referred to Jhunjhunu after her condition became critical. The injured woman’s brother-in-law Deshraj said that he was feeding the animals at around six in the evening. At the same time, his younger brother Vedprakash’s wife Sanjana (45) was doing household work at home. During this time, the history-sheeter of the police station area, Umesh Yadav, son of Harphool Singh Yadav, came to their house with one of his companions and entered the house and shot Sanjana and escaped through the millet crop.

When he heard the bullet sound and went inside the house, Sanjana Devi was lying in a pool of blood. Meanwhile, the nearby villagers reached the spot and took the injured Sanjana to the government hospital in Singhana through an ambulance. Dr. Lokesh said that the woman was shot below the chest from the front. There is also a mark on the waist. She was referred when her condition became critical. According to the information, the miscreant Umesh Yadav is a history-sheeter of Singhana police station. There was a dispute between the miscreant Umesh and the injured woman’s husband Vedprakash regarding money transactions. Due to this, on 26 October 2021, Vedprakash shot and killed history-sheeter Umesh’s father Harful Singh at a farm house built in the fields near Santdia.
