Churu : Three people attacked Sardarshahar Congress leader and former nominated councilor Champalal Rakasia late at night in Churu district. A tractor was driven over Champalal Rakasia with the intention of killing him. Sardarshahar Youth Congress President Ravikant Saini informed about the case and said that the Congress leader runs a hotel on Hanumangarh Road. Shankarlal Jat, Maniram Jat and Chhaganlal, residents of Gajusar, came to the hotel to eat on Sunday night and during this time they also misbehaved with the people eating there.
Tractor ran over Congress leader
Saini said that when Congress leader Champalal Raksia asked for money after eating food, the three started beating him. During this, all three came out of the hotel and with the intention of killing Congress leader Champalal Raksia, they ran the tractor behind him and ran over Champalal Raksia. After attacking, all three fled from the spot.
Champalal Rakasia’s treatment continues
People present on the spot took seriously injured Champalal Raksia to the government hospital. Where doctors referred him to a higher centre after first aid. Now Champalal Raksia is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. Police reached the private hospital on information and took the statement of Congress leader Champalal Raksia and the police has started investigating the case.
Warning to close Sardarshahar
Sardarshahar Youth Congress President Ravikant Saini said that we will meet the police administration and demand the arrest of the accused and if the accused are not arrested soon, a protest will be held. He has also warned of a shutdown in Sardarshahar if the accused are not arrested.
